Terms of Use

The terms on which Al Masria International Elevators makes this website available to you.

Last updated:

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this website, which is operated by Al Masria International Elevators ("we", "us", "our"). By opening, browsing or using the website — including by sending us an enquiry through the contact form — you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data sent through this website is handled.

  1. 1About this website

This website presents Al Masria International Elevators and the services it offers: elevator installation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, modernization, emergency repairs, spare parts, service contracts, and inspection and safety services.

The content is published for general information. It is not an offer capable of acceptance, and it is not engineering, technical, safety, regulatory or legal advice for any particular building. Elevator work depends on the condition, use and configuration of the specific installation, which can only be established by inspecting it.

Photographs, renderings and videos on this website are illustrative. They do not represent a specification, a guaranteed appearance or a guaranteed outcome for any particular project.

  2. 2Enquiries, quotations and binding agreements

Sending the contact form is a request for us to contact you. It does not create a contract, it does not reserve capacity, and it does not oblige us to accept the work.

Any indication of scope, specification, price, lead time or schedule given on this website, by telephone, on WhatsApp, or in an initial reply to an enquiry is preliminary and given for guidance only.

The scope of work, the specification, the price and the timing become binding only when we have carried out a site visit, confirmed them to you in writing, and you have accepted that written confirmation. Until that point either party may withdraw without liability.

Where the conditions found at the site differ from what was described to us, or where the work required falls outside what was quoted, we may revise a quotation before it is accepted.

Once work is agreed, the relationship between us is governed by the contract, quotation or service agreement signed for that work, and not by these Terms of Use.

  3. 3Your use of the website

You may read this website, and print or download extracts from it, in order to evaluate our services or to contact us. Any other use requires our written permission.

    You must not:

    • Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that breaches Egyptian law.
    • Submit false, misleading or impersonating information, or another person’s contact details without their authority.
    • Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, threatening, or that infringes the rights of another person.
    • Upload any file containing a virus, malicious code or anything else designed to harm a system or the data on it.
    • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its interfaces, its database, its file storage or any system connected to it.
    • Interfere with the operation or availability of the website, including by automated submission, scraping, or placing an excessive load on the contact form.
    • Present yourself as, or imply that you are, connected with or endorsed by Al Masria International Elevators when you are not.

Conduct of this kind may also constitute an offence under Law No. 175 of 2018 on Anti-Cyber and Information Technology Crimes of the Arab Republic of Egypt. We may suspend access to the website and report such conduct to the competent authorities.

  4. 4Files you upload with an enquiry

The contact form allows you to attach building plans, photographs and technical drawings in PDF, JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC format, up to 10 MB per file and a maximum of five files per enquiry.

By attaching a file you confirm that you are entitled to share it with us and that doing so breaches no other person’s rights and no duty of confidence you owe. Please do not upload anything you are not free to share.

We use the files only to understand the building and to prepare a response or a quotation for the work described. They are stored privately and are handled as set out in the Privacy Policy.

  5. 5Intellectual property

The name Al Masria International Elevators, its Arabic form المصرية الدولية للمصاعد, the company logo, the tagline, and the text, photography, video, illustrations, layout, design and code of this website are owned by Al Masria International Elevators or used by it under licence. They are protected by Law No. 82 of 2002 on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights of the Arab Republic of Egypt and by the international treaties to which Egypt is a party.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt, translate, or use any of them commercially, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. You may link to the home page or to any public page of this website, provided the link is fair and does not suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist.

Nothing on this website transfers to you any right, title or interest in any of them.

  6. 6Links to other websites and services

This website links to services operated by others, including WhatsApp. Those links are provided for convenience. We do not control those services, we do not endorse their content, and we are not responsible for them or for any loss arising from your use of them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

  7. 7Availability and changes to the website

We aim to keep this website available and its content current, but we do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption or free from error. Access may be suspended, withdrawn or restricted at any time, including for maintenance.

We may change, add to or remove any part of the content of this website at any time and without notice.

  8. 8Disclaimer

This website and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Egyptian law, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the content is complete, accurate, current, or fit for any particular purpose.

Information about elevator equipment, standards, safety and maintenance published here is general in nature. It cannot replace an inspection of your building by a qualified engineer, and you should not act on it in relation to a specific installation without obtaining professional advice.

  9. 9Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Egyptian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence and liability for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of anticipated savings, or loss or corruption of data arising from your use of this website or from reliance on any content published on it.

Our liability for the work we carry out is governed by the contract signed for that work and is not affected by this clause.

  10. 10Personal data

Personal data you send through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations. The Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.

  11. 11Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The date shown at the top of this page is the date of the current version. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are published in English and in Arabic. The two versions are intended to carry the same meaning; in the event of any discrepancy, the Arabic version prevails.

  12. 12General

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. A failure or delay by us in enforcing any provision is not a waiver of it.

These terms are made between you and Al Masria International Elevators. They create no right enforceable by any other person.

  13. 13Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim.
